Auction Terms and Conditions

1.1. By accessing and using this auction website (“the Site”), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
1.2. The Site reserves the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice. Continued use of the Site constitutes acceptance of such changes.
1.3. All sales are final. No refunds or exchanges will be allowed unless otherwise stated in writing.

2.1. The Pre-Auction operates as a standard e-commerce sale with “Buy Now” functionality only.
2.2. Full payment is required before any stock will be released.
2.3. Stock will be released within 7 working days after receipt of payment.
2.4. The buyer is solely responsible for collecting their order from the designated collection point.
2.5. All prices listed are exclusive of VAT unless otherwise indicated.
2.6. All products sold during the Pre-Auction are Vega/unbranded products.
2.7. The Pre-Auction sale will run for a limited time only and will end prior to the commencement of the actual auction.

3.1. All auctions will display a bidding start price for each product.
3.2. There are no reserve prices and no maximum bid prices for any auction items.
3.3. Once the auction closes, the system will automatically select the highest bidder as the winner.
3.4. Winners will receive an email notification with a secure payment link.
3.5. Payment must be made within 24 hours of receiving the payment link. Failure to make payment within this timeframe will result in the item being re-auctioned, and repeated non-payment may lead to your account being inactivated.
3.6. Stock will be released within 7 working days after payment has been received.
3.7. The buyer is responsible for collecting their order from the designated collection point.
3.8. All prices are exclusive of VAT.
3.9. All products sold during auctions are Vega/unbranded products.
3.10. Each auction will only run for a limited time, and no late bids will be accepted.

4.1. Binding Bids: All bids placed are legally binding. By placing a bid, you agree to purchase the item at your bid price if you are the highest bidder when the auction ends.
4.2. Bid Retractions: Bids cannot be retracted once placed.
4.3. System Errors: The Site is not responsible for any technical errors, downtime, or interruptions during the bidding process.
4.4. Fraudulent Activity: Any fraudulent or suspicious activity will result in immediate account suspension and potential legal action.
4.5. Account Responsibility: Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account details and all activity conducted under their account.

5.1. Payment methods will be clearly indicated during checkout.
5.2. Orders will only be released upon confirmation of cleared payment.
5.3. The Site does not offer delivery services unless otherwise stated. Collection arrangements must be made by the buyer.

6.1. All items are sold on an “as is” basis.
6.2. The Site makes no warranties or representations regarding the quality, suitability, or fitness for purpose of any product sold.
6.3. The Site shall not be held liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the purchase or use of products.

7.1. The Site reserves the right to suspend or terminate any account that violates these Terms and Conditions, including but not limited to repeated non-payment or fraudulent activity.

8.1. These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of South Africa
